LLP Annual Compliance in Ranchi

Keep your LLP in good standing. We file your annual returns and statements on time, and help you catch up if filings were missed.

Overview

Compliance even when there is no business

Every LLP must file annual forms with the Registrar of Companies, whether or not it did any business during the year. Missing the due dates leads to additional fees for every day of delay.

We prepare your Form 11 and Form 8, file your income tax return, take care of designated partners’ KYC and handle event-based filings such as changes of partners or address. If filings are already overdue, we help you bring your LLP back up to date.

FAQs

Common questions

Does an LLP with no business still need to file?

Yes. Form 11 and Form 8 are mandatory every year, even if there was no activity, and so is the income tax return.

What are the penalties for late filing?

Additional fees are charged for each day of delay, and they can build up quickly. File as early as possible, and talk to us if filings are already overdue.

Is an audit compulsory for an LLP?

An audit is required once turnover or contribution crosses the prescribed limits. These limits have been revised in recent years, so we confirm what applies to your LLP.

What is the difference between Form 11 and Form 8?

Form 11 is the annual return with partner and contribution details. Form 8 is the statement of account and solvency, which carries financial information.

What if a designated partner missed the KYC?

The DPIN may be deactivated, which blocks signing of MCA forms. It can be reactivated on payment of a fee, and we can help.

Can you file old pending returns?

Yes. We prepare and file all pending returns, with the additional fees that apply, so your LLP is back in good standing.

This page is general guidance as we understand the Indian Partnership Act, 1932, the LLP Act, 2008 and MCA procedures. Stamp duty, Registrar fees, forms and due dates change and vary by state, so we confirm the latest requirements for your case before we begin.
